The Australian Fuel Buyers Association (AFBA) exists to support a more secure, competitive and resilient fuel supply sector for independent, rural and regional Australia.

Our mission is to strengthen the voice of independent fuel buyers through constructive industry engagement, practical policy advocacy and long-term support for Australia’s fuel supply capability.

We believe reliable and competitively supplied fuel is critical to freight, agriculture, mining, construction and the broader regional economy. AFBA works to support policies and industry outcomes that improve supply resilience, market access and fuel security across Australia.
